Your privacy matters. MyDayWheel™ is a personal life navigation tool. Your journal entries, goals, and daily data are yours — we never sell, share, or monetize your personal information.
1. Who We Are
MyDayWheel™ is operated by Michael Fleming and the MyDayWheel team. Our website is mydaywheel.com. If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy, you may contact us at privacy@mydaywheel.com.
2. Information We Collect
We collect only the information necessary to provide the MyDayWheel™ service:
- Account information: Your email address and password (stored securely using bcrypt hashing) when you create an account.
- App data you create: Time blocks, goals, journal thoughts, money entries, daily ratings, and settings that you enter into the app. This data is synced to our secure cloud database so you can access it across devices.
- Usage data: Basic technical information such as your device type, browser version, and general geographic region (country/state level) for service improvement purposes.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information solely to:
- Provide and operate the MyDayWheel™ service
- Sync your data across your devices
- Send you important service notifications (such as security alerts)
- Improve the app based on aggregate, anonymized usage patterns
We do not use your personal data for advertising, we do not sell your data to third parties, and we do not share your journal or personal entries with anyone.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored in a secure cloud database (Supabase, hosted on AWS in the United States). We use industry-standard security measures including:
- Encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) for all data transmission
- Row-level security policies ensuring you can only access your own data
- Bcrypt password hashing — we never store passwords in plain text
- JWT-based authentication with short-lived access tokens
5. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will permanently delete all associated data within 30 days. You may request deletion of your account at any time by contacting us at privacy@mydaywheel.com.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access: Request a copy of the data we hold about you
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data
- Deletion: Request deletion of your account and all associated data
- Portability: Request an export of your data in a machine-readable format
- Opt-out: Opt out of any non-essential communications
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@mydaywheel.com.
7. Children's Privacy
MyDayWheel™ is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.
8. Third-Party Services
MyDayWheel™ uses the following third-party services to operate:

These services have their own privacy policies and data practices. We encourage you to review them.

MyDayWheel™ uses minimal browser storage:
- localStorage: We store your authentication session token and app preferences (theme, settings) in your browser's localStorage. This data stays on your device and is not transmitted to third parties.
- We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of MyDayWheel™ after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
